Yuva Against Addiction creates awareness about substance abuse and its consequences, encouraging young people to make informed choices and embrace healthy, constructive and addiction-free lifestyles.
Through awareness programmes, cultural engagement and positive youth participation, it seeks to inspire a generation that values well-being, responsibility and self-discipline.
The programme
Programme elements the initiative brings together:
Awareness sessions: Age-appropriate sessions on substance abuse and its consequences, delivered with schools and community partners.
Yoga and well-being: Yoga and mindfulness practice that promotes physical health, balance and self-discipline.
Constructive engagement: Music, dance and performance as positive, confidence-building ways to spend time and energy.
Young voices: Opportunities for young people to share healthy-living messages with their peers through performance and presentation.
Families and schools: Involving parents, teachers and institutions so that healthy choices are supported at home and at school.
Each discipline is part of the Festival's holistic approach to youth development.
Awareness of substance abuse, and yoga for physical and mental well-being.
Life-skills learning that complements school education.
Working with schools, families and community partners.
We welcome government bodies, CSR partners, schools, cultural organisations and mentors who wish to help Yuva Against Addiction reach more young people.
Musicea Yuva Festival is an initiative of Musicea Arts and Culture Council (MACC), a Section 8 not-for-profit company registered under the Companies Act, 2013. The Council advances music education, qualifications and cultural engagement through an India-centred, internationally connected framework.
